Tours
Touring is an important
part of any programme.
Everything can be artificially created except natural beauty
and of that we have plenty in Portugal.
The geographical difference between parts of the country, separated
by only a few miles, can take a simple full-day tour from a
green pasture to a quiet litlle town in the dry plains of Alentejo
where you will step back on time.
Dozens of options can be made; a tour to Queluz, Sintra and
Estoril, the palace tour by excellence, representative of several
architectonic styles.
A visit of Nazaré with its small fishing boats where
the locals still face the sea daily to earn a living or the
charm of the old, wall surrounded, town of Obidos with its white,
blue and yellow houses, the small "cafés" and the cozy
"ginginha" bars.
A breathtaking view of Lisbon from the bridge (the longest in
Europe) linking the city to the southern area of Palmela and
Setúbal with their sweet wines (there to taste) and "Pousadas"
in the old castles.
Just a few options from a never ending list of choices... |
